i learned to climb very early, i'm sure i'm responsible for more than a few of my mother's gray hairs. i have heard so many stories about when i was a toddler, how it was a common occurrence for whoever was watching me, to leave the room and return to find me gone...followed by a little bit of search, ending on the mantle. After a few times, they did learn to look up first
In this side of the world we celebrated Mother's Day on August 15th, my mom is a shoe lover, so this was the perfect cake for her.
Half of the cake was chocolate mud cake and the other part was white chocolate mud cake. The cake was filled with chocolate ganache.
My mom loved it! :)

THis is actually a DIY flipflop projects kids can make. You can use ribbon too, just try various ribbons or fabrics to make shoes as a gift for mom!
An easy fun craft for little ones.
These are the kinds of gifts you get when your son is in Boy Scouts, and they're commissioned to make Mother's Day flip flops.
They're actually kind of cuter in person.
Okay, I *really* hope the 99 cent store is not the "Mother's Day Headquarters" they say it is!
But this made me smile.
Happy Mom's Day
Happy Mum's Day
Happy Mimi's Day
Happy Nana's Day
Hope I covered everyone! Cheers to the moms who are worth WAY more than 99 cents! (And it wasn't even a dollar store!)
