Red Ballet slippers as wedding Shoes (photo)

Red Pointe Shoes, originally uploaded by midoriissa.

Ballet slippers (or red pointe shoes) would be fantastic under a wedding gown.

These were actually worn in a production (read photo note below)

but would be great for a bride as bridal shoes!

PHoto note:

For our company performance in April, Act II used music from the "Memoirs of a Geisha" soundtrack. For those dances, we needed red pointe shoes to match the esposed parts of the red linings in our white costumes. These are my first pair of red pointe shoes, but the third pair of pointe shoes I've had dyed. The white background is actually a nightgown I wore as a costume when I played "the little girl" during our studio's very first recital back in 2001.
